RSU - Resa Solare Umbria

Resa Solare Umbria is an application that estimates the energy production of a photovoltaic system installed in a municipality in Umbria, taking into account both current climatic conditions and future scenarios related to climate change.

  • Selection of the installation municipality

  • Input of:

    • System power (kW)

    • Overall efficiency (0.01–1.0)

    • Panel tilt (0–90°)

    • Orientation (via cardinal points or azimuth 0–360°)

  • Display of estimated energy production for the next 5 years

  • Comparison between:

    • Current scenario (historical average data)

    • Future scenario (simulated with climate change effects)

  • Export options:

    • PNG chart

    • PDF report including data, summary table, and chart

  • Solar irradiation: ENEA, NASA POWER, Copernicus, 10-year averages

  • Coordinates of Umbrian municipalities: ISTAT, GeoNames

  • Future climate change scenarios: IPCC RCP 4.5–8.5 scenarios for central Italy
